Yes, We Have Shirts.
A perennial entry on the PJP to-do list is the purchase of PJP branded t-shirts, coffee mugs, magnets, and the like. On the regular, we have customers stop by and ask if we have merchandise for sale and we awkwardly answer in the negative. (So awkward.) And the reasons for not having a selection of shirts and whatnot are terribly lame. It basically involves long conversations wherein Jeanne and I discuss whether or not anyone would want to buy a "Pie Is The New Cake" coffee cup. And if we think they would, what sort of cup is the ideal cup? And if we found the ideal cup, is purchasing 75 cups be a prudent business decision? And if we decided it was, could we afford it? And if we could afford it, where would we store them? And if we displayed some, where would we do that? And what if we did all that and no one bought one? And true to our nature, we just move on to something else less overwhelming and then when six weeks or so have passed, we look at each other and say "hey, why don't we sell coffee cups?" SIGH.
So when I stumbled up Zazzle.com and found that we could offer shirts and cups and stickers and magnets and oh, basically everything in the world that can be logo'd, I immediately created a PJP storefront and got to work. Here is the way it works...anyone can log on to Zazzle, view our store, and order anything. It is shipped from Zazzle directly to your doorstep.
What we particularly love is that shirts are available in all sizes, from small to 3XL. (We included sizing availability for men, women, and children.)
