iDisaster

A few weeks ago, I used my phone to film Jeanne while she did the lattice top on a cherry pie.  The results are great...well, they are actually mesmerizing (even for me and I've seen it done 4,319,463 times).  My goal was to import the video into iMovie and then make the video fancy and professional and to painstakingly choose just the right song to accompany her handiwork and then share it all with you here. And....not so much.  I've spent countless hours trying to figure out how to remove the background noise of the PJP kitchen that is in the video and I can't figure it out to save my life.  I've watched an embarrassing amount of YouTube tutorials about removing audio and adding content from my iTunes library and all I've learned is that iMovie and iTunes is iConfusing.  So look, Apple Corporation, I wave the white flag.  I can't figure it out...I'm sure that if I only pressed control plus right-click plus backspace plus F4 all at once, then I could probably make the video do just what I wanted.  If this is all just a conspiracy to get me to buy a $9.99 app that unlocks all the secrets to iMovie, then I am IN.  Until then, please enjoy my noisy background and focus on the true art - handmade lattice work...
