Don't Sleep On This

Over this Father’s Day weekend, we experienced 102% growth over Father’s Day 2019 and that is pretty darn amazing, right? I worked 14 hours on Friday and when I rolled back into the parking lot at 3 am on Saturday, I reminded myself that while some things have changed over the years, CLEARLY NOT ALL THE THINGS. On the positive side, unlocking the back door, turning on the lights, and working 14 hours straight is a solid reminder of the dedication entrepreneurship requires. And that’s always a good reality check.

Here’s a few other brief notes:

  1. We will be closed on Saturday, July 4th for the holiday. We are strongly suggesting pre-orders for July 3rd. You can do that here.

  2. If you haven’t already, don’t forget to text PJP to 484848 to join our Inner Circle text club. We shared a 20% off your total purchase valid last week. This week, I shared a 20% off text for any merchandise purchase through this Saturday.

  3. And look, I hear from many blog readers that they often miss out on the regularly announced Pandemic Style Pie Tasting parties. Once we post the date to Facebook, the event usually sells out of 30 tickets in less than 30 minutes. So, shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, here is something just for those of you reading right now:

  4. We are going to do a super fun, never done before pie tasting on Friday, July 3rd. Since it is the 3rd, we are offering a tasting of pies we do in trios. For example, think Chocolate Cream, Chocolate Mint, and Almond Joy. Or American Apple, Dutch Apple, and Caramel Apple. Or Banana Cream, Banoffee, and Chocolate Banana. The options are limitless! We are going to pack you up six different pie trios (for a total of 18 three-inch tarts per ticket) and you’ll take them home for the holiday weekend and have all the fun trying the flavors. Tickets are $29 and won’t be released for sale on Facebook until this blog post circulates around a little bit. You can call to reserve your ticket(s) and pay starting at 8 am tomorrow.

  5. And finally, if you are shopping around Shoppes at Stadium near the Ulta, you might see a familiar friend - us. The Kroenke Group asked us to provide a PJP poster in their advertising kiosk at no cost to us, which could be some sort of Kroenke Group miracle, so we weren’t about to sleep on that opportunity. We think she looks pretty delightful…
